In general, babies stand for everything that is good, our guaranty for love. The baby is sweet and innocent and it is not done to tamper with that. However this baby disagrees with our unwritten law, he stands up for him self.

Benthe

For this work my daughter Benthe was my model. At the age of 11 Benthe was still a child but you could see she would soon be a woman. This moment of blossoming makes every parent realizing a new period in time is coming up. A melancholic en intimate moment I really wished to capture.
